This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.
Job Description
You’ll perform standard and complex repairs, on a wide variety of auto makes and models with limited technical supervision, including the diagnosis and repair of engines, transmissions, exhaust, brakes, electrical, air conditioning and computer systems. You may also act as a technical expert to other lower-level technicians in the shopResponsibilities:
· Perform thorough diagnostics and repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
· Conduct routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake inspections, tire rotations, and other services to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
· Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical and mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension components.
· Ensure all work meets high-quality standards and follows industry best practices. Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues.
· Maintain accurate records of all services performed, including parts used, labor hours, and any additional recommendations.
· Collaborate with other team members, including shop admin and fellow technicians, to efficiently handle workflow
Qualifications:
· Proven experience as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, must have at least 2 years of experience
· Possess relevant certifications such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) and other industry-specific credentials.
Possess a valid drivers license
· Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques. Stay updated on industry advancements.
