Manager/Supervisor
HVAC Residential Install/Change Out Department Management position. Must be detail and customer-service-oriented and have excellent organizational skills. The position requires a high level of correspondence with the Residential Install/Change Out Department, the Service Department and with customers & vendors. Must be strong in Microsoft applications and be able to work well with others in a fast-paced & high-volume environment.
Responsibilities
  • Manage the Install/Change Out Department and all of it’s staff; installers, project manager, salesmen, admins, warehouse staff
  • Develop a plan for local and state-wide growth for the department
  • Train sales staff to qualify potential buyers. Manage the staff who will scheduling sales calls, follow-up on leads, and utilizing marketing strategies to maintain a high level of sales activity
  • Close sufficient sales to meet or exceed sales plan objectives.
  • Develop estimates and proposals for projects to include equipment replacements and repairs & MVP preventative maintenance agreements
  • Assume account management responsibility (installation, training, etc.) to assure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Develop technical skills to thoroughly understand the functionality of installed systems as they relate to overall home function.
  • Be knowledgeable of local and national codes, as well as customer-specific requirements, that drive specific system and residential configurations.
  • Provide leadership and input to others as requested or required to assist in the accurate estimation, design, installation, start-up, and training.
  • Manage the staff who will track active, expiring, and expired PM agreements and send proposals for renewal 60-90 days prior to expiration of existing contract.
  • Train the staff to ensure proper discussion with Customer for additional services, pricing levels, scope verification.
  • Performs other duties as assigned
The Required Profile
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of sales experience in the HVAC industry.
  • Excellent initiative, and interpersonal communications skills and a demonstrated ability to influence others
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, deal with ambiguity and manage high volume projects
